The United States has added the Pakistani terrorist organization Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) to the terrorism blacklist.
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said in a notice published in the Federal Register that TTP threatens US national security. She designated the group as a “foreign terrorist organization” under U.S. law. Clinton further named the group’s top leaders, Hakimullah Mehsud and Mir Wali UrRehman, “specially designated global terrorists”, a classification that will result in the imposition of additional State and Treasury department sanctions on these individuals.

China has warned the United States, Japan, and South Korea not to bully North Korea. After a visit by the North Korean leader Kim Jong II the Chinese state media reported, that the USA, Japan, and South Korea should not “bully” Pyongyang if they want to soothe regional tensions.
During his visit Kim met Chinese President Hu Jintao and assured him that his nation was willing to return to long-stalled nuclear disarmament talks.
A major Chinese newspaper the Global Times said “living in the shadows of South Korea, Japan and the US, North Korea has to wrap itself up tighter in order to fend off military threats, and threats of political and cultural infiltration.”

Never has an administration been so callous in hiding corruption as this one.
This is the first administration I have observed that Flaunts corruption in our face and has no concern for being outed. At least Bush tried to hide it!

As the Democratic Party appears to be headed for a significant loss this next election, Obama has been attempting to make back room deals to steer off significant rivals. He has however been unsuccessful.
President Obama concerned about a potential loss of control in both houses of congress has been trying to eliminate strong contenders for democrats by offering their strong opponents government positions; however two have flatly refused, former Colorado House Speaker Andrew Romanoff and Rep. Joe Sestak.
The revelation of a potential political trade calls into question President Obama's recurring promises to run an open government, one above back room deals, apparently Obama has a very short memory.

Warren Buffet who owns stock in both troubled enterprises Wall Street's Goldman Sachs and Moody's Rating service has been defending both companies of late.
Buffett's company Berkshire Hathaway inc. owns 48 million of Moody's shares, and Buffett is being paid $500 million annually from Goldman Sachs, or as Buffett himself puts it, $15 a second, on the $5 billion loan he made to the firm amid the credit crisis. These two companies may share considerable responsibility for the financial meltdown.
In addition, as he appears to value bank and financial stocks, as of February, 2009 Warren Buffett's, Berkshire Hathaway controlled an estimated 314.6 million shares of Wells Fargo.
