Common is back with his new album, Finding Forever, which hits stores next Tuesday, July 31. His first single, “The People” (which is produced by Kanye West, who also produced the first single from Common’s last album, “Go!”) has been doing pretty well. Admittedly, 2005’s Be was a great album, and Finding Forever definitely is a nice follow-up record. As usual, Common finds the middle ground between great production and lyrical content, not swapping one out for the other, and you’ve got to respect him for that. Common’s album includes features from Kanye West, Lily Allen, Will.I.Am, Bilal and D’Angelo.
