Britney Spears has angered some fans in Australia with her performance in Perth on Friday. Days after Australian government officials warned Spears’ fan that the pop star would be lip synching portion of her concerts, about 100 fans allegedly left her concert complaining of an “impersonal” experience.
Fans allegedly slammed Spears for a disappointing show that included lip-synching. On Saturday, singer John Mayer jumped to the pop star’s defense. “If you’re shocked that Britney was lip-synching at her concert and want your money back, life may continue to be hard for you,” he wrote on his Twitter page.
Spears performs next on November 11 in Melbourne. She has not commented on the latest controversy. Read more about Spears’ lip synching
