    International Game Technology (IGT:US) rose the most in the S&P 500, adding 9.4 percent to $20.31. The world’s biggest maker of slot machines posted profit excluding some items of 20 cents a share in the fiscal fourth quarter, beating the average analyst estimate by 23 percent, according to Bloomberg data.



    JDS Uniphase Corp. (JDSU:US) climbed 4.8 percent to $6.36 and rose as much as 8.1 percent, the biggest intraday gain since Sept. 22. The maker of phone equipment reported first-quarter sales of $297.8 million, beating the average analyst estimate by 1.6 percent, according to Bloomberg data.



    KKR Financial Holdings LLC (KFN:US) surged 8 percent to $5.59 and jumped earlier to $5.68, the highest intraday price since October 2008. The unit of KKR & Co. that lost $1.1 billion in 2008 made $67.2 million last quarter, underscoring a recovery for the debt investments that contributed to the worst credit crisis since the 1930s.
