Matt Ryan threw for 369 yards and three touchdowns while Andre Callender had 96 yards rushing and a touchdown to go along with 51 yards receiving as the #14 Boston College Eagles locked up the ACC Atlantic division beating the Miami Hurricanes 28-14 on Saturday.
The Eagles racked up 480 yards of offense compared to just 288 yards for the Hurricanes yet the game was tied 14-14 early in the fourth quarter. That’s when Ryan found Clarence Megwa on a 20-yard touchdown pass to give the Eagles a 21-14 lead and following a Miami punt Boston College marched down the field and sealed the game with a 45-yard touchdown run from Callender.
The win assured the Eagles a spot in the ACC championship game were they will meet the Virginia Tech Hokies.
With the win Boston College improved to 10-2 on the season while the loss kept Miami under .500 for the year at 5-7.
